The Bay Area is rich with Black history through sports and beyond. The impact can be felt in the past, present and future.
For Black History Month 2021, we looked at Black sports executives who have made, and are making, an impact on the community and beyond. These people stem from the front office to entrepreneurship and many different avenues. Part of what makes this list great is its wide range of people.
There were of course more names we could have added and many more that will be added to this list in the Bay Area . . .
