U.S. Arrests Fugitive Chinese Businessman, Alleging Visa Fraud

A fugitive Chinese businessman who has been living large in California in recent years was arrested in Las Vegas last week on allegations of entering the U.S. using fraudulently obtained visas.
Shi Jianxiang was charged with lying about names he has used to obtain nonimmigrant visas, the U.S. Justice Department said in a written statement dated Friday. The 57-year-old is considered a flight risk and will be held until he can be tried in federal court, it said.
