WASHINGTON, April 6 (Reuters) - United Airlines (UAL.O) said on Thursday it will temporarily cut some flights at three airports in the New York and Washington, D.C., areas after the Federal Aviation Administration gave carriers permission to cancel some flights this summer because of an air traffic controller shortage.
