Unity senior Cody Shaffer commits to Black Hawk College | Sports

MENDON, Ill. -- Unity senior Cody Shaffer is continuing his baseball career.

Shaffer announced his commitment to Black Hawk College on Thursday afternoon, signing his national letter-of-intent with Black Hawk during a ceremony at Unity High School.

"I went on a visit with them and fell in love with their program and facilities," said Shaffer. "Their head coach Josh Keim is a great guy. He comes from the Quincy area and was actually an assistant coach at QU. So it's just a small world and we were really able to connect on that . . .
