While no known U.S. cases, Black Hawk County monitoring Omicron variant | Coronavirus

WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL) -- The Black Hawk County Health Department says it is currently monitoring the Omicron variant situation. 

There are no known cases of the Omicron variant in the U.S. or Iowa at this point.

Josh Pikora, Disease Surveillance and Investigation Manager, says there are so many unknowns at this point. He says local health officials are definitely following any and all developments.
