American doctors arrive in Gaza: ‘I’ve never seen such things before in life’
Doctors from a delegation of Canadian and American medics who arrived in Gaza on Thursday have described the health situation as “desperate” and said that sanitation and health infrastructure were collapsing due to the lack of space, supplies, medical equipment, food and water.
“It’s very dire, desperate, catastrophe, inhumane. You can name it, every name. They’re all severe,” said Dr. David Hasan, a neurosurgeon at Duke University . . .
