Taylor County’s population up almost 9%, according to Census data

Taylor County grew to an estimated population of 143,208 people in 2020, up almost 9% from the estimated 2010 population of 131,506, according to data released Thursday by U.S. Census Bureau.
The population for Abilene now is 125,182, according to the census' QuickFacts page, up from 117,063 in 2010, an almost 7% increase.
San Angelo's population is 99,893, up from 93,200 in 2010.
