Fire on an oil tanker struck by a Houthi missle is now extinguished

Trafigura, the company that owns the Marlin Luanda confirms that the fire that blazed on the ship overnight is now extinguished and there were no injuries.

The ship, with a cargo of highly flammable naphtha, a petroleum product, was attacked yesterday by Houthi militants.

The U.K. government said “reserve the right to respond appropriately,” for the attack, alongside its allies.
