The push by the Nigerian government in partnership with the World health organization to run a successful mass vaccination program in Nigeria under the global Covax program is bound to fail from the start. With an over ambitious program to vaccinate 40% of the population by the end of the year 2021 and an additional 30 % on 2022, the Nigerian government has set itself up for failure on the global stage.
